Botanical & landscape illustrator. Norfolk. UK

Roger Kent

Roger Kent
Colourful flora and fauna dominate the portfolio of wildlife artist and botanical illustrator Roger Kent. Based in Norfolk, the local countyside and natural history of the area have inspired his paintings and his commercial work. Other influences include the Ladybird books of the 1960s and 70s, as well as the artworks of Charles Tunnicliffe and Stanley Badmin.

His passion is travelling to the Masai Mara reserve in Kenya to see the big cats – sometimes the subject of his paintings - which he tries to do once a year. He also plays hockey and football, and listens to punk.
